Leggett 2015 Income Tops $325 Million

Bedding component supplier Leggett & Platt (NYSE: LEG) said lower steel prices and a stronger U.S. dollar will impact earnings in the current year.
The company reported net income of $80.5 million, for the fourth quarter, compared to net income of $20.6 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for from continuing operations dropped 0.9 percent to $944.6 million.
The company reported net income of $325.1 million for the fiscal year, compared to $98 million net income last year.
Sales in the company’s residential furniture division dropped 3 percent, or $13 million.
