Lectra Updates DesignConcept Furniture Software

Design technology provider Lectra has updated DesignConcept Furniture, a 2D/3D collaborative design, costing and virtual prototyping software for upholstery.
The new version of DesignConcept can accommodate a variety of upholstery designs, including tufting and buttoning, to provided digital prototypes, costing and more.
"Lectra is committed to supporting the upholstered furniture market in its drive towards operational excellence throughout the entire manufacturing process, from design to production,” said Céline Choussy Bedouet, chief marketing officer for Lectra. “This new version of DesignConcept Furniture makes it easier than ever for them to get it right the first time.”
Lectra said DesignConcept Furniture allows designers and prototypists to simulate new models and explore multiple options virtually.
