Brown’s Interior Design Names Friedman CEO

Friedman was promoted from executive vice president to his current position earlier this month. In the new position, Friedman reports to  Dana Brown, president of Brown's. The retailer said the promotion follows a record setting year for Brown's. 

Friedman has more than 20 years of experience in the furniture industry, including roles at Carl's Furniture as vice president of merchandising and Carl's Patio as general merchandise manager. 

"His industry experience and brand building expertise coupled with his passion and drive will further develop Brown's Interior Design," Brown said. 

Friedman will lead and support the Brown's team of Ken Fritz, COO, Laurie Carney, CFO and Susie Brown, director of marketing. 

"I am excited for my new role at Brown's and look forward to supporting the long term success of our incredible company,” Friedman said. "As we move forward we will continue to find new ways to increase the overall brand experience and level of customer service.”
