CFMA Donates Furniture for 40 Military Families

Participants of the event included members of CFMA and a few other Southern California furniture companies. Through this annual event, 40 families received new furniture including sofas, living room sets, dining sets, headboards, nightstands and bed frames. 

CFMA joined with the Navy League of San Diego and Homefront San Diego to distribute the furniture to families in need. Participating companies included Ashley Furniture Inds., Hollywood Bed & Spring, RC Furniture, Robert Michael Furniture, Sandberg Furniture Mfg., Cambridge of California, Pacific West Furniture, EJ Lauren, Custom Comfort, Omnia Leather, and GM Mattress.

The furniture was distributed at the Veterans Center in Oceanside, Calif., which is adjacent to Camp Pendleton.

“We always get a lot of thanks from the families, but really, it’s our members who are thankful for their service,” said Scott Sandberg, CFMA president.

This is the fourth time the group has made such a donation, and Sandberg said the association will continue the tradition in December.
