Furniture of America to Mark 10th Anniversary at Las Vegas

At the upcoming Las Vegas market, full-line furniture resource Furniture of America will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an assortment of market specials and promotions including daily drawings giving six customers the chance to win discounts on orders placed at the show.

The discounts available include two for $2,500,  two for $5,000  and two for  $10,000.

On Monday and Tuesday of Market, the company will hold three drawings each day at 6 p.m. at its showroom at B1168. All dealers are welcome for the drawings but do not need to be present to win.

According to Mike Genrich, senior vice president of sales and marketing, qualifying orders are warehouse orders only, written at the Las Vegas Market, Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday prior to the drawing.

All qualifying orders are non-cancelable, must ship when available and cannot be added to after the drawing. Additional rules apply and can be seen in the Furniture of America Showroom.

In addition to the drawings, the company plans to jumpstart its anniversary celebration by serving lunch from noon to 2 p.m. through Tuesday, and will host a cocktail reception and dealer party starting at 4 p.m. Sunday and Monday.

“If all of this seems like we are going all out to thank our customers for an amazing decade of growth, we are,” Genrich said. “In fact, we are so appreciative of our customer’s support and loyalty that Furniture of America is dubbing our 10th Anniversary, our Customer Appreciation Year.”

Furniture of America created its business in 2005 but January 2006 marks its first opportunity with furniture customers attending the Las Vegas Market.

Underscoring the company’s stellar and steady growth, Genrich said that since first showing at the Las Vegas Market the company’s product catalog has expanded from 10 pages to nearly 1,000 pages, with the 2016 catalog set to be distributed at the show.

Meanwhile, thanks to ongoing customer growth and loyalty, the company’s total U.S. distribution has mushroomed from under 75,000 square feet of warehouse distribution to more than 1.6 million square feet.

With the addition of its Texas facility, which came online in September, Furniture of America has five branches up and running in the U.S.

Genrich attributed the company’s steady growth to a number of factors including products, good quality, sharp pricing, prompt delivery and support from its customers.

“In addition, and perhaps most important, is the fact that at every level—and with every decision—we approach the business from the perspective of what is best for our customer,” Genrich said.   “And that, perhaps above all else, has helped us enjoy a decade of incredible growth.”

During the show, Genrich said that the company’s introductions will reflect a merchandising focus on small-space living, increased functionality and more.
