Veltri Joins Gardner-White Furniture

Home furnishings retailer Gardner-White Furniture has named Kathy Veltri to the newly created role of executive vice president of sales.
"We are delighted to welcome Kathy to our team," said Steve Tronstein, Gardner-White CEO, "Her track record speaks for itself. Gardner-White will benefit from her vast experience in the selling side of the retail furniture business. We expect Kathy to be a key player as we execute the next phase of our growth plan."
Veltri was president of Thomasville Home Furnishings though 2014. Prior to Thomasville, she was senior vice president of marketing and stores at Arhaus.
"Gardner-White is a wonderful company and a perfect fit for me,” Veltri said. “It's not that often today to find a furniture retailer that has a great reputation and a true desire to maintain their core values while poised for growth and expansion.”
The retailer also said Pat Sebastian, industry veteran and director of sales training will retire in mid-2016.
"Pat has created the Gardner-White culture,” said Rachel Tronstein, president of Gardner-White. “In my three years at Gardner-White he has mentored me and taught me our core values that we will bring forward."
The company also promoted Pamela Novak-George to vice president of store operations from director of store operations.
"Pam has brought structure and discipline to Gardner-White stores. Her efforts were integral to making us Top 100," Tronstein said. "We are excited to see her rise within Gardner-White and bring our stores to the next level."
