Canadian furniture retailer Stoney Creek Furniture recently opened a new 18,000-square-foot store in Vaughan, Canada.
The retailer marked the opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
“For years, we’ve had customers from the GTA make the drive to Stoney Creek; they often requested that we open a store closer by,” said Jim Fee, vice president.
The Vaughan location is positioned as ‘the best of Stoney Creek Furniture’, with a curated selection chosen for this particular market. The offering includes classic furniture pieces as well as contemporary, transitional, condo-sized furnishings and trendier options. The store also features an assortment of unique and one-of-a-kind home accents and accessories.
Stoney Creek Furniture opened in 1969 with a small showroom located in Stoney Creek, near Hamilton.
The sales team is non-commission, focusing instead on providing knowledge about the product lines available and what to look for when buying furniture. Today, Stoney Creek Furniture’s flagship store is located in an 85,000-square-foot showroom, showcasing a selection of furniture styles, mattresses and accessories.
At the core of Stoney Creek Furniture’s success for the past 47 years are exceptional customer service and the quality and uniqueness of the furniture.
“We offer a diverse and eclectic mix—there’s something for everyone,” said Lori Negrinotti, merchandise manager.
Stoney Creek Furniture continues to expand its product offering, and creative new designers and collections are always being sourced.
“We think about our customers and their journey – what suits their needs and their lifestyle,” Fee said. “We want customers to be so happy with their experience that they recommend us to their friends—and come back again and again.”
