Denver Mattress to Gather Holiday Toys

Between Nov. 30 and Dec. 8, all of the retailer’s locations in the Denver metro area—Aurora, Colo., Dacono, Colo., Denver, Lone Tree, Colo., Lakewood, Colo., and Littleton, Colo.—will serve as toy collection points for the annual toy drive by the organization.
DSCS's mission is "A Toy for Every Girl & Boy" each Holiday Season. The Shop is celebrating its 85th Anniversary of providing free toys to local children in need, many of whom may not otherwise have a toy to open at Christmas. DSCS collects new and gently used toys for children from newborn through 11 years old. Parents are invited to select toys for their children. Toys are valued from 10-100 points each, and parents can select up to 10 toys per child. DSCS will provide toys to 14,000 local children in December.
"We are so grateful to Denver Mattress for being toy drop-off sites for the Denver Santa Claus Shop," said Gary Steck, president of the Shop's board of directors. ”This is the fourth year in a row that Denver Mattress stores are collecting toys, and we couldn't fulfill our mission without them.”
Denver Mattress Co. is part of the Furniture Row Cos. with more than 330 stores in 30 states.
