Cort recently helped an Orlando, Fla., veteran and his family get a home.
Cort teamed with the Military edition of Designing Spaces on Lifetime Channel. The episode will air Dec. 10 and Dec. 17 and will feature U.S. Army veteran Tommy Travis and his family.
The Travis family had been living in a small apartment. Now, they are living in a three-bedroom, fully furnished home.
Earlier this summer, the family was given a home by an Orlando, Fla., retiree who wanted to give back to servicemen and women. With the help of Cort that house became a home complete with sofas, beds, wall décor, accessories and lighting.
“Designing Spaces afforded Cort the opportunity to show our appreciation to military veterans and their families by assisting them as they go through life transitions,” said Lisa Woodworth, vice president of marketing. “There are so many veterans who made great sacrifices to protect our country, but still need assistance. We are excited and honored for the opportunity to provide our services as the Travis Family transitions into their new home.”
During the episode, CORT’s corporate partner, the Folds of Honor Foundation, presented an educational scholarship to the Travis family.
