The Monique Lhuillier for Pottery Barn Kids collection, set to debut in March, features more than 70 pieces for nursery, bedroom and playroom. The retailer said the pieces capture Lhuillier's sophisticated and glamorous design aesthetic. The collection is inspired by her own experience as a mother creating serene and magical nurseries and bedrooms for her children. The capsule collection marks Lhuillier's first entry into children's home furnishings.
”I have always been inspired by the delightful fantasy of special occasions," Lhuillier said. "Becoming a parent is a very special and emotional life event that allows you to see life through the eyes of your child. As a parent, I believe it's important to create a space that reflects your child's personality, inspires creativity, and brings a sense of calm to the energetic lifestyles parents and kids lead. I'm very excited about the collection I've created with Pottery Barn Kids that marries the functionality needed for baby and kids' spaces with contemporary, whimsical, and magical design."
Pottery Barn Kids is part of the Williams-Sonoma (NYSE: WSM) family of brands.
"We are excited to collaborate with Monique Lhuillier to design a collection for Pottery Barn Kids," said Sandra Stangl, president of Pottery Barn Brands. "Her elevated design approach has been a catalyst in the making of this enchanting collection. Monique has beautifully translated her fashionable runway designs and luxe details into a stunning collection for baby and kids home furnishings. We cannot wait to share the new collection with our customers."
