FastFact: 3Q Furniture Industry Sales Climb

Furniture and bedding sales topped $68 billion to wrap up the third quarter this year.
The industry’s $68.59 billion represents a 5.4 percent increase from the first three quarters of last year when sales were $65.06 million.
Furniture and mattress sales for 2014 totaled $87.56 billion. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the industry should post a sales increase this year.
