Furniture Fair Readies New Store

Home furnishings retailer Furniture Fair is looking to open its first Dayton, Ohio-area store around Black Friday.
Cincinnati-based Furniture Fair is gearing up to open its first Dayton-area store in the former Cub Foods space at 8245 Springboro Pike (Ohio 741) in Miami Twp.
The family-owned chain operates 11 stores in the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky area, including one in Fairfield.
Furniture Fair president Bill Daniels said Monday that the new store is shooting for a “soft” opening around Black Friday, the traditionally heavy shopping day after Thanksgiving, although that projected opening could be pushed back until early December.
