World Market Launches Share the Joy Sweepstakes

Customers can enter World Market’s sweepstakes online  for a chance to win a World Market gift card for themselves and a donation to their favorite charity. The specialty retailer will give away on $2,000 World Market gift card plus a $2,000 donation to charity each week. 

Lesley Nicol of the television show Downton Abbey will be in attendance at World Market’s original store at 6333 W. 3rd St. in Los Angeles on Nov. 21 to help kick off the sweepstakes. Attendees of Nicol’s appearance are asked to bring five non-perishable food items to be donated to the event. The first 200 fans to bring their food donation will receive a signed photograph and an opportunity to meet Nicol.

World Market’s “Share the Joy” sweepstakes has resulted in donations to nonprofit groups including local hospitals, healthcare associations, food banks and children’s organizations in previous years.
