The employees helped decorate the lodge for the Halloween Hollywood Horror event. Using their talent and creativity, 18 employees turned the lodge into a frightful scene, which helped the event raise almost $10,000 for the Milagro Center, an organization that wroks to enrich children’s lives through cultural events.
The decorations at the Halloween event “set the whole mood for the evening. It was simply amazing,” said Barbara Stark, CEO of the Milagro Center. She appreciated the Twin Star staff “who volunteered their time, their creativity, and their sweat in setting up the venue,” she said.
The Milagro Center serves 40 to 50 elementary school-aged children and 20 teens on-site daily, plus an additional 150 individuals annually through its ARTreach program. The main objective of their program is to improve the overall performance and futures of the children and families whose lives they touch empowering them to reach their highest potentials and rise above their circumstances.
