As part of its mission to educate members and the industry, the California Furniture Manufacturers Association will host a panel discussion next month designed to help attendees leverage the growing opportunities associated with e-commerce and social media.
Set for Nov. 5, the event will be held at the Fullerton Community Center in Fullerton, Calif., from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
The panel discussion will feature Ronald Kuo, CEO of e-commerce for Furniture of America; Felipe Liberman, CDEO of Shippi.com; Adam Pontrelli, owner of AP World Marketing; and
Katie Wagner, owner of Katie Wagner Social Media. Scott Sandberg, director of strategic growth for Sandberg Furniture and CFMA president, will moderate the discussion.
“A panel format allows us to learn from each other and discover new ways to drive sales,” Sandberg said. “We have a knowledgeable panel lined up, featuring experts who have spearheaded e-commerce in the furniture industry as well as social media for their companies.”
The discussion is free to CFMA members; non-members may attend for a fee of $45. Space is limited and advanced registration is encouraged.
Registration and additional information are available online.
“Events such as this one are just one of the many ways the CFMA strives to keep its members—and the industry—up to date and up to speed on topics that can impact profitability,” Sandberg said.
