Myriad Marks 25 Years with App
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Myriad Software unveiled a business management web-based app.
When she started Myriad Software 25 years ago, Carolyn Crowley, CEO and founder, stared Myriad 25 years ago.
Today, the company has more than 250 clients in 11,000 retail locations across the United States and Canada.
While working as an executive with GE Retail Systems, Crowley noticed a gap in the market for retail management systems for small to medium-sized home furnishing companies. Myriad was created to fill that need and the company became the first software-based solution for the mid-sized home furnishings retailers, offering customer relationship management tools, inventory control, accounting, and special order tracking.
“We’ve been able to grow with our industry while servicing our customers’ needs over the last 25 years,” Crowley said. “The longevity of our relationships has helped us keep pace with technological advancements and provide the best service and solutions possible.”
Crowley credits her team, most of whom have been with the company for 10 or more years, with the company’s success in the retail software-solutions space. “I’ve been able to create a dynamic, dedicated team, and that has provided an environment for our long-term success,” she said.
