Fine Furniture Design High Point Showroom Ready for Guests

The new Fine Furniture Design High Point showroom will offer visitors an enhanced layout and special amenities.

The entrance to the 14,000-square-foot showroom at 305 S. Hamilton St. has been transformed from an outdoor atrium to a 1,600-square-foot grand lobby with 20-foot ceilings. Natural light from arched windows shine in on pieces from the company’s Brentwood collection. The showroom includes a working design center, a best of gallery with pieces from the company’s top-selling collections, and lounge serving lunch, cocktails and custom beer.

“Every detail of our new showroom has been strategically designed to enhance the shopping experience for our customers,” says Eric Graham, president of Fine Furniture Design. “With their busy schedules in mind, the space thoughtfully plans to meet the needs of buyers and designers with a full range of amenities that are essential during Market.”

The working design center offers counter-height work tables, product catalogs, finish panels and fabric swatches for buyers and interior designers. Small swatches are also available to go to accommodate busy schedules.

The best of gallery gives shoppers a quick glance at pieces from Fine Furniture’s best-selling collections.

Anchored by a contemporary bar with stacked stone details and a large friendship table made of reclaimed wood, the lounge provides a casual space for customers to relax and refuel. A full bar, featuring Fine Furniture Design’s custom beer brewed exclusively for the October Market, will be served daily, in addition to catered buffet lunches.

“Whether it’s pulling up a stool to the bar, lounging in a swivel chair, or socializing at the friendship table, we want our customers to feel comfortable and stay as long as they’d like,” Graham said. “We have the amenities and convenient location to be the home base, so-to-speak, for our customers and we encourage them to take full advantage of our new space.”

The company will host a ribbon cutting Friday, Oct. 16 at 5:30 p.m. during its Blues, Brews & Bistro celebration. The winner of the Fine Furniture Design custom beer naming contest will be announced, and the beer will be available for tasting.

Bob Margolin, a former member of the Muddy Waters band, will be performing; a caricature artist will be on hand, and a professional photo booth will be in operation to document the evening.

The company will also host a party Saturday, Oct. 17 with food, beverage and entertainment by Brad Baily, an eight-string guitarist.
