Talalay latex supplier Talalay Global has promoted two executives to more senior roles within the company.
Mike Quinn has been named vice president of operations, and Moe Shaham is now vice president of international sales.
Quinn, a 15-year veteran of the company, was most recently director of manufacturing. He joined the company in 1999 as a lab technician intern. After graduating in 2002 from Northeastern University, he worked as team leader in the pressroom and eventually assumed the role of director of operations for the company's rubber factory. Quinn has held various important roles within the company and has been successful in expanding his team with succession planning, and continuous improvement.
Shaham was previously director of customer service. His customer relations skills and intimate knowledge of product lines are an essential skill set combination that will be instrumental to growth potential in the world market. Shaham will continue to lead special projects focused on continuous improvement and logistics options to enhance customer service and target cost savings. His knowledge about technology will allow him to work on projects where analytical and system skills are needed.
“Mike and Moe are thought leaders that demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement while proactively building a world class collaborative environment for our customers, our employees, and our suppliers,” said Kimberly Fisher, COO. “We are happy to recognize their accomplishments.”
