Heritage Home Names President, CEO

Heritage Home Group has named Pierre de Villeméjane president and CEO.

De Villeméjane has served as a member of the company’s board of directors since the Heritage Home was created in November 2013.

Having successfully led multiple companies at the CEO level for nearly 15 years, he most recently served as CEO of WWRD Holdings Limited, the holding company for the formal china and crystal brands Wedgwood, Waterford and Royal Doulton. KPS Capital Partners, controlling shareholder of Heritage Home, sold WWRD Holdings to Fiskars Corp. in July. Prior to his tenure with WWRD, de Villeméjane was CEO of Speedline Technologies, another KPS company.

De Villeméjane also currently serves on the board of directors of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (NYSE: MSO).

“The board is delighted to have Pierre de Villeméjane lead HHG as the Company embarks on an ambitious growth strategy,” said Raquel Vargas Palmer, KPS partner and chairwoman of Heritage Home’s board. “Pierre is a highly accomplished executive with a demonstrated track record of delivering impressive top and bottom line results. He brings to this role, among other qualities, an extensive knowledge of the home décor market, deep expertise managing global supply chains and a demonstrated ability to successfully position a portfolio of iconic consumer brands.

“Pierre led the management team that transformed WWRD into a thriving and highly profitable global luxury home and lifestyle company, with a portfolio of brands including Waterford, Wedgwood, Royal Doulton and Royal Albert,” she said. “He repositioned and contemporized these storied brands, and invested significantly in WWRD’s people and asset base over the six years under KPS ownership. WWRD manufactured and sourced products globally, and sold its premium products in over 80 countries. Pierre earned the confidence and respect of the world’s major retailers and many of the world’s leading designers.”

Richard Lozyniak, who had been serving as interim CEO, will remain on as a member of HHG’s board of directors.  “I would like to express the Board's deep gratitude to Rich Lozyniak for all he has done, and will continue to do, for HHG,” Palmer said. “His service has been invaluable, and we look forward to his continued contributions as an HHG board member.”

“I am pleased to lead Heritage Home Group on its journey of ambitious growth – this is the beginning of an exciting new era,” said de Villeméjane. “HHG holds a rare combination in the home furnishings industry: a venerable portfolio of 10 of the industry’s most beloved brands, partnerships with premier luxury designers and, perhaps most importantly, longstanding customer relationships.  Our exclusive focus will be on delivering the most innovative and inspiring products in the market to our customers.  We will work tirelessly to delight our customers with best-in-class service, quality and delivery.

“I look forward to building on the momentum created by Rich and the HHG team,” he said. “HHG’s access to KPS’ financial resources is a tremendous competitive advantage. We intend to grow this Company aggressively over the next few years, both organically and through acquisitions.”
