Fine Furniture Pops Top on Beer Naming Contest

Fine Furniture Design plans to put a little fun into High Point Market with a Custom Beer Naming Contest.

The company is giving its customers an opportunity to create a custom beer name to be unveiled during the Fine Furniture Design Blues, Brews & Bistro celebration to christen the new showroom. The party, set for Friday, Oct. 16, will be held in the showroom at 305 S. Hamilton St. The winner will receive an Apple Watch.

“Precisely crafted like our products, this one-of-a-kind craft beer is being created as we speak,” said Eric Graham, president of Fine Furniture Design. “All we can tell you right now is that it will be a red ale with robust woody flavors aged over oak to align with our largest new introduction this Market. This beer will be just one element of surprise and delight during the grand opening celebration of our new showroom. Everyone will talk about this party, the craft beer, and our fresh new introductions, which will be unexpected for Fine Furniture Design.”

All entries will be judged anonymously by Columbus, Ga.-based Hinson Galleries, Bragg Furniture, Huntsville, Ala., California Furniture Galleries, Canoga Park, Calif., and members of the Fine Furniture Design management team on a points-based system for the creativity and uniqueness of the chosen name, and alignment with the October 2015 Fine Furniture Design product introduction. Logo and packaging will be developed using the beer name and unveiled at the grand opening celebration.

Interested participants can enter online, which was also provided to our customers in an e-mail, various trade publications and through social media sites. The contest opens for entries today and will close Tuesday, Sept. 15 at midnight Eastern Daylight Time. This contest is open to the trade only. Retail store buyers, retail store sales associates and interior designers are eligible for participation; the public is not. Participants must be at least 21 years of age.
