Flexsteel Posts 6.5% Year-End Sales Jump

Total home supplier Flexsteel Inds. (NASDAQ: FLXS) reported a 6.5 percent increase in net sales to $467 million for the year ended June 30 compared with net sales of $439 million last year.
Net income for the year was $22.3 million compared to the net income of $15 million in the prior year.
Sales of home furnishings climbed 10.3 percent to $103 million for the year, and 9.3 percent to $393.1 million in the fourth quarter.
Net income for the fourth quarter was $5.8 million compared to $5.6 million in the prior year fourth quarter. Fourth quarter sales were $121.3 million, a 9.2 percent increase over net sales of $111.1 million in the same quarter last year.
