World Market to Open First New York Store

The 5,000-square-foot store, located at 620 6th Ave. in Manhattan, will focus solely on living room, dining room and bedroom furniture, lighting, an expanded rug assortment, small decor pieces and throw pillows. 

“We’re excited to be opening our first store in Manhattan this month,” said Barry Feld, CEO of San Francisco-based World Market. “The store is a great way to introduce the World Market brand to New York customers, who may not be familiar with our assortment of unique and affordable home furnishings. We have no doubt that once a customer discovers us, they’ll become a frequent and loyal customer.”

It will be World Market’s first small-scale home store.
