Thomasville Names Director of Case Goods Merchandising

Tony Yarussi has been named director of case goods merchandising for Thomasville.
Yarussi joins Heritage Home Group from Thomasville of New Jersey where he had been director of store operations. His background includes 23 years of experience in the furniture industry, the last six years with Thomasville.
“I am thrilled to be joining HHG at such an exciting time,” he said. “I look forward to working with everyone at Thomasville to drive growth through compelling new case goods products.”
Yarussi reports to Paul Peters, senior vice president of merchandising.
“As a previous furniture business owner, Tony brings extensive retail furniture management experience, as well as expertise in merchandising, sales and operations,” Peters said. “Tony is well versed in Thomasville, and I am confident that he will make an immediate positive impact on the brand.”
Yarussi succeeds Bruce Frenzel, who had managed case goods development for both Thomasville and Broyhill. Frenzel
Prior to Tony’s arrival, this critical position was filled by Bruce Frenzel who managed development of case goods on both the Thomasville and Broyhill brands. Frenzel is now focused on Broyhill case goods development.
