Wayfair Sells Australian-Based Business to Temple & Webster

Wayfair (NYSE: W), an online destination for home furnishings and decor, has sold its Australian-based business to Australian-based Temple & Webster, a members-only online destination for the home.
The www.wayfair.com.au website will continue to operate under the Wayfair name for 45 days and then be reintroduced under a new brand name from Temple & Webster. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Temple & Webster has more than 1.1 million members and is ranked as Australia’s top retailer in online homewares by Power Retailer.
