Serta Simmons Names Dascoli as CFO

He will be responsible for all aspects of SSB finance including planning and analysis, accounting, risk management, treasury, tax and internal audit, and the company’s IT functions. Dascoli has 30 years of experience in consumer product and retail finance, most recently as CFO at Express, Inc., a multi-billion-dollar, publicly traded specialty apparel and accessories retailer. 

He has also been CFO at VF Jeanswear Limited Partnership, the lifestyle apparel company that own the Wrangler and Lee brands. 

“Paul’s significant financial experience at large, multi-national consumer brand companies will add tremendous value to our company,” said Gary Fazio, CEO of SSB. “Paul joins Michael Traub, Tony Smith and the rest of our talented and proven executive team, and I am confident that SSB will continue to thrive under their leadership.” 

Dascoli also brings 10 years of furniture industry experience as an executive at Thomasville Furniture Industries, a subsidiary of Furniture Brands.
