The Bon-Ton Stores Names Tracy as COO

The Bon-Ton Stores, based in York, Pa., has appointed William Tracy as COO, effective July 27.
He will have responsibility for stores, information systems, supply chain, distribution and logistics, omni channel strategy, real estate and human resources. Previously, Tracy served as executive vice president of supply chain, logistics and omni channel fulfillment, and global sourcing for Hudson’s Bay Co. He has also served Fortunoff, Nine West Corp., Lord & Taylor and Abraham & Straus Department Stores in his more than 30 years of retail experience.

The Bon-Ton Stores operates 270 stores, which include nine furniture galleries and four clearance centers, in 26 states in the Northeast, Midwest and upper Great Plains under the Bon-Ton, Bergner’s, Boston Store, Carson’s, Elder-Beermat, Herberger’s and Younkers nameplates.
