Brown Named Regional Sales Manager at Symbol

Previously, Brown had been a sales representative for the company. In his new position, Brown reports to Nick Hrkman, sales manager, and is responsible for the company’s growth and development in Tennessee, Georgia and South Carolina. 

Carolina, operating from his home in Atlanta.   

“Mike has a solid sales background in the bedding industry, having worked in various field and management positions for a number of mattress producers since 1986,” Hrkman said. “He’ll represent Symbol at both the Las Vegas and Tupelo furniture markets and we look forward to leveraging his extensive bedding knowledge and expertise in the southeastern market.”

Prior to joining Symbol, Brown had been national sales manager of the Sleep Comfort international division of Kingsdown. Prior to that he worked in sales from 1993 to 2012 for American Bedding. He served as a sales manager at American for the last 14 years of his nearly 20-year tenure.
