Rooomy has launched an iPad app that provides a virtual staging concept for real estate, home furnishings retailers and consumers.
Rooomy’s patented core technology transforms two-dimensional images into three-dimensional spaces, helping real estate companies virtually stage their listings with products from leading furniture brands. The San Jose, Calif.-based company is piloting with Prudential California Realty in California and Modern Spaces NYC on the East Coast to use its technology to stage properties they have for sale and rent.
Rooomy’s platform also allows participating retailers to leverage its capabilities to connect with home furnishings shoppers when they are buying a new home. Potential customers can see how certain furniture and design ideas would look in space. Participating retailers include Wayfair, BluDot, Design Within Reach, All Modern and Havertys.
“Real estate and retail are hampered by an inability to visualize what spaces would look like redecorated,” said Pieter Aarts, CEO of Rooomy and Loft-NedSense. “Consumers are hampered by the inability to personalize a listed house to their liking and imagine vacant properties as future homes. Rooomy’s advanced 3D visualization technology overcomes all these limitations.”
