Mocias Hired as California Sales Director for Luxury Mattress Brand pure LatexBLISS

Shelton, Conn.-based pure LatexBLISS, an international luxury mattress brand, has hired Dan Mocias as sales director of its California region, a newly created position in the company’s reorganization.
He has 25 years of experience in home furnishings industry sales and marketing, and most recently was responsible for growing e-commerce accounts for Concepts in Wood and Boyd Furniture.
“With interest in Talalay [latex] sleep products on the rise, our goal is to bring more depth to our sales team and better serve our customers,” said Ken Hinman, executive vice president of sales and marketing direct to retail of pure LatexBLISS. “Because of his work in home furnishings, Dan brings a different perspective to the company. He has a great track record and knows how to implement new programs that grow a business. The expansion of the sales team is one of the ways we are helping our retailer partners better understand the benefits of and the best ways to sell Talalay products.”
The company operates in eight countries with regional distribution centers in France, Asia, Atlanta, Phoenix, Texas and Connecticut. It has showrooms worldwide including in Brussels, Las Vegas and Shelton, Conn.
