La-Z-Boy Profits, Sales Soar

Increased sales sent fiscal 2015 net profit at La-Z-Boy (NYSE: LZB) to $70.7 million, a 28 percent increase from the prior year profit of $55.1 million.
Net sales for the year were $1.43 billion, a five percent increase over net sales last year of $1.36 billion.
For the fourth quarter, La-Z-Boy’s net profit was $20.2 million, a 65 percent jump from the fourth quarter net profit last year of $12.2 million.
Net sales for the quarter were $374.9 million, a 6 percent increase over 2014 fourth quarter net sales of $353 million.
"We are pleased with our results for the full fiscal 2015 year,” said Kurt Darrow, chairman, president and CEO. “We increased sales across all three operating segments, and increased our consolidated operating profit, earnings per share and dividend.
