Ashley Lauded for Distribution Services

Ashley Distribution Services, LTD, the distribution arm of Ashley Furniture has been awarded three different distribution service honors.
The transportation division, founded in 1974, was recently given the National Private Truck Council/C.H. Robinson Excellence in Backhauling Award; the Anheuser Busch Service of Excellence Award; and the CaseStack National Truckload Carrier of the Year Award.
ADS maintains a high level of service metrics such with on-time pickup and delivery performance and a low claims percentage. Throughout its history, ADS has implemented a series of continuous improvement initiatives to consistently transport high volumes of freight, including furniture deliveries and backhauls, safely and timely.
"Ashley's 2014 statistics which include 100 percent on time delivery, 99 percent load tender acceptance rate, 98 percent POD recovery rate and zero claims demonstrates their continued commitment to providing the level of customer service that is essential to CaseStack's operations,” said Ryan Casady, senior executive director of CaseStack Logistics Partners.
