Nova Names Director of Smart Health Furniture

Liu, a medical doctor, brings more than 17 years of experience to the company and has a track record in research and development of pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic products in the U.S. and China. He holds more than 45 patents or patent applications and has been the recipient of awards including the National Distinguished Expert Award, Beijing, China, 2010 and the National Science Honor Roll, Beijing, China, 2015.

Liu has served as postdoctoral fellow, Department of Pharmacology, Dartmouth Medical School Hanover, N.H., 1995-1997, postdoctoral fellow, Department of Pharmacology, Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, Neb., 1992-1995, senior research staff, Millennium Pharmaceuticals Inc., Cambridge, Mass., 1997-1999, president at Beijing Coreway Sci-Tech Co. Ltd, Beijing, China since 2006 and chief scientific officer at the National Key Lab of Southern West Pharmaceutical Resources in Nanning, China since 2012. Prior to these appointments, Liu was the CEO at Beijing Yili Biotech Institute in Beijing from 2000 – 2005.
