Englander Lands New Zealand Licensee

Mattress supplier Englander Sleep Products has signed a license agreement with Slumberzone New Zealand to manufacture and market Englander products throughout New Zealand.

Slumberzone, a family-owned business founded in 2005 by Ranjay Sikka, maintains a 50,000-square-foot factory in Auckland that makes and sells innerspring, hybrid and specialty beds to all distribution channels across New Zealand.

Auckland is located on New Zealand’s North Island and is the largest, densest urban area in the country and is home to 31 percent of the population.

Along with its own line of mattresses, Slumberzone plans to make a full complement of Englander-branded products.

“We’re very excited to have teamed with Ranjay because of his company’s superior quality standards and its affiliation with highly respected retailers,” said Kevin Toman, Englander CEO. “We’re also pleased with our ongoing global expansion. Our new agreement with Slumberzone completes the licensing partnerships we sought in the Pacific Rim region.”
