Gorman’s Home Furnishings Extends Deadline for Scholarship Applications

The scholarships, in celebration of the retailer’s 75th anniversary, will be awarded to post-secondary students enrolled in any Michigan college or university interior design program.

Applications are now due by 5 p.m., Friday, June 26.

Applications are available online and winners will be notified in early August.

To be eligible, all applicants must be currently registered in a certification or an associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degree program for interior design. Each will be judged on their core design philosophy, goals and commitment to the profession, as well as the three portfolio samples they must submit.
