Long-time vice president of sales for home furnishings branding for Wright Global Graphics Lanny Jarrell is retiring after 46 years with the company.
“Lanny helped this business grow into the success it is today and we are grateful for all his contributions to our clients and company over nearly five decades,” said Don Wright, senior vice president of business development and chairman. “He has helped so many brands grow through his innovative thinking and fantastic customer service. He was a mentor to me personally and helped develop a lot of the talent in our organization. We will miss him dearly, but know that it is time for him to spend more time with his grandchildren and see if he can improve on his four handicap.”
Jarrell began his career with Wright in 1969 as a press operator. He then moved into the sales division with a focus on the mattress and furniture industry. In 2012 and 2013, he was president of the American Home Furnishings Alliance and in 2014 he was its chairman.
“I feel really blessed to have been with the Wright family for all these years and to work with wonderful clients and colleagues,” Jarrell said. “I believe that we make a true difference for our customers and I am happy to have made a contribution to their success. My successors are a wonderful group of talented executives who I know will serve our company and clients with distinction.”
He is married with two children and four grandchildren.
Earlier in the year, anticipating Jarrell’s retirement, Wright appointed several experienced sales executives who have been working with him on a smooth transition
