FastFact: Mattress Sales Climb 16.3% from 4Q

Sales for the bedding industry saw a 16.3 percent increase between the fourth quarter of 2014, and the first quarter of this year.
Compared to this time last year, there is a reported 10.2 percent increase. For perspective, year-to-date sales are up from $3.2 billion, now sitting at $3.5 billion.
Over the last two years, the bedding industry has exhibited a consistent improvement, gradually climbing when compared to the same quarter of the following year.
