Legacy Classic Names Salesperson of the Year

Todd Weinstein has been recognized by case goods supplier Legacy Classic Furniture with the 2014 Kevin O’Connor Salesperson of the Year award, the company’s highest sales award.

The award is given to the top sales representative or team who increases their territory’s accounts and business across all categories, along with other factors such as overall professionalism.

“Todd is a true professional and high regarded not only by Legacy Classic, but in the industry as a whole. He consistently represents Legacy Classic in a positive manner and he is one of the hardest working representatives you could find,” said Don Essenberg, president of Legacy Classic. “Todd is well deserving of this award. We appreciate his continued support of the brands and his retailer base.”

Weinstein began his career in 1995 working for Seaman Furniture, and then Levitz, after the two companies merged. In 2004, he went on the road representing the Natuzzi line and joined Legacy Classic in 2006. In addition to being honored by Legacy Classic, Weinstein has been recognized by the Greater Metropolitan Furniture Association as Outstanding Representative of the Year for 2014 and winner of the Founder’s Day Award by East Meadow School District for his service to the community.

“I am lucky to represent Legacy Classic Furniture,” Weinstein said. “Although our industry has felt its challenges over the last several years, I always enjoy going out everyday and working with our customers. The New York and New Jersey territory is so unique it makes my job equally challenging as it is fun.”
