Bauhaus Names Stephens President

Upholstery supplier Bauhaus has named furniture industry veteran Wayne Stephens president.

Stephens succeeds Britt Allred who recently left the company to pursue other interests. Stephens is a former consultant for the company and will be based in Saltillo, Miss., at Bauhaus’ office.

Blair Taylor, the company’s CFO, has been named COO and will work with Stephens in operational and financial matters for the company. Prior to joining Bauhaus, Taylor was CFO for American Furniture Manufacturing and for Southern Motion.

In addition, Bauhaus also announced the promotions of Jeannie Corey and Peter Andersen.

Corey, who has been Bauhaus’ director of design for nearly seven years, has been appointed vice president of merchandising. Andersen, Bauhaus’ sales representative for its New England, New York, New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania territories since 1996, has been appointed senior vice president of sales.
