McCreary Modern Donates to Ronald McDonald House

Upholstery and occasional supplier McCreary Modern donated more than $13,000 to the Winston-Salem, N.C., Ronald McDonald House.
The company matched its employees’ contribution to support the organization for a total of $13,320.
During the workday Thursday April 23, all 650-plus participants wore their “Sport a Shirt, Share a Night” t-shirt.
“What the people of McCreary Modern have done for us is unbelievable,” said Mindy Bloom, director of development for the Ronald McDonald House in Winston-Salem. “We are so grateful to your organization for the generosity and heart of the folks at McCreary Modern… Your kindness is remarkable”.
The donation will support the Ronald McDonald House of Winston Salem’s efforts to provide a home away from home for families of critically ill children.
“A number of employees, family members and friends have been touched by the kindness and resources of this facility,” said Rick Coffey, president of McCreary Modern. “We are proud of our employee’s selflessness and generosity. Their participation since 2005 has allowed us to contribute over $95,000.00 to this most worthy organization.”
