Under the deal, Seldens will acquire Masins’ assets and inventory while assuming the lease on the retailer’s Main Street showroom. The deal is expected to close this summer.
“While Masins’ wonderful 88-year legacy in the furniture and design industry is coming to an end, we are excited for the growth and new opportunities that will surely be accomplished under Seldens ownership,” said Bob Masin, CEO. “The relationships we have cultivated with our high-end vendors will be extended to the Seldens group to expand their current merchandise offerings.”
David Masin, current Masins president, will remain with the company and will manage the retailer’s 25,000-square-foot Bellevue store. Bob Masin will be retiring.
Financial details of the deal were not released.
