Gorman’s Offers Scholarships for 75th Anniversary

The scholarships are for students enrolled in an accredited Michigan college or university interior design program. The application for the scholarships is available online and are due by 5 p.m. May 29.

To be eligible, all applicants must be currently registered in a certification or an associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degree program for interior design. Each will be judged on their core design philosophy, goals and commitment to the profession, as well as on three portfolio samples.

Awardees will be notified in early August.

“Design students are our industry’s future,” said Tom Lias, president of Gorman’s. “What better way to celebrate this momentous time in Gorman’s history than help to ensure that students have the opportunity to further their design education and training.”
