Natuzzi 4Q Sales Climb 12.6%

Leather upholstery supplier Natuzzi (NYSE: NTZ) reported a net loss of $19.2 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31 compared to a net loss of $37.1 million in the final quarter of last year.
Fourth quarter net sales were $173.1 million, a 12.6 percent increase from net sales of $153.8 million in the same quarter of 2013.
The company attributed its improvements to increased sales and improved factory productivity in Italy and China.
For the year, Natuzzi reported a net loss of $65.6 million, compared to a loss of $91.1 million in 2013. Net sales for 2014 were $613 million, a 2.7 percent increase from $596.6 million in 2013.
