Bryan Smith, president and CEO of Southerland, becomes ISPA’s vice chairman. Ron Passaglia, president and CEO of Restonic, becomes immediate past chairman. Ryan Trainer and Catherine Lyons were reelected as president and treasurer, respectively.

The following current trustees were elected to serve another term on the Board: Aslan Cohen, Spring Air Mexico, Iv Culp, Culp, Inc., Adam Lava, A. Lava & Son Co., Doug Guffey, Corsicana Bedding., Jim O’Donnell, Tempur-Sealy International, Valerie Stranix, REV Sleep Corporation, Ryan Trainer, International Sleep Products Association and Scott Veitzer, Omaha Bedding Co. In addition, Brad Rogers, senior vice president of the bedding division of Ashley Furniture Inc., has been elected to the board.

Gerry Borreggine, whose term as immediate past chair has ended, has retired from the board.

“I congratulate our new officers and trustees on their election,” Trainer said. “As ISPA celebrates its 100th anniversary and plans for the future, input from these seasoned leaders will guide the association as it addresses common industry issues. On behalf of the full ISPA membership, I thank each of them for volunteering their time and effort to serve in these important positions. I also want to express a special thank you to Gerry Borreggine for his years of contributing to ISPA and the industry, and especially his service as an ISPA officer over the last six years.”
