BedMart Opens Store in Hawaii

Portland, Ore.-based mattress retailer BedMart has opened its first store in Hawaii marking the company’s first expansion out of the Pacific Northwest since its founding 23 years ago.
The store, located in Kahului, Hawaii, opened last week, and the company already has plans to open another store on Kona.
“Even though we’ve seen steady growth, we’ve never lost the small, tight knit family-owned culture,” said Steven Stone, president. “Our unique shopping experience will mesh perfectly with Hawaii’s friendly, family-centric community.”
