Kent Benson Named VP for Zenith Global

Kent Benson has been promoted to vice president of Southeast and contract business development for Zenith Global Logistics.
Benson will continue to his responsibilities for growing sales in the Southeast and for operations the company’s Tupelo, Miss., and Orlando facilities. He is also now responsible for developing the contract and hospitality segment for the company.
Prior to joining Zenith, Benson was director of global logistics for Worldwide Logistics and vice president and general manager for Southern Furniture Transport.
“Kent came to Zenith with 25 years of hands-on experience in all aspects of transportation and logistics, from planning and modeling to pricing and performance standards,” said Jack Hawn, president and CEO. “He used this expertise and leadership to help our company establish facilities in Tupelo, Miss., and Orlando, Fla., hubs—both of which are essential to meet the needs of our customers throughout the Southeast. His promotion is well deserved, and recognizes Kent’s contributions to Zenith and its customers.”
