IHFRA to Bestow Furniture First with Retailer of the Year Award

This is the first time a buying group has been presented the award.

Founded in 1994 by a small group of independent retailers, Furniture First now has 212 members representing more than 430 retail locations nationwide.The average member store has been in business for over 40 years, is family-owned and operated.

Bill Hartman, president of Furniture First, will accept the award on behalf of the group’s members. Hartman has been in the home furnishings industry for more than 33 years.
