Serta Simmons CFO Resigns

The chief financial officer of Serta Simmons Bedding has left the company.
Brian Callahan, who joined Serta in 2010 as CFO, has resigned to pursue other interests, according to a company release. In 2011, Callahan added the CFO position of Simmons to his responsibilities.
SSB, parent of Serta and Simmons, has hired an executive search company to identify a successor. In the interim, Gary Fazio, CEO of SSB, will assume oversight of the company’s finance functions.
“On behalf of SSB, I would like to thank Brian for his dedicated service to the company,” Fazio said. “He has made valuable contributions to SSB in our continued efforts to execute on our plans to grow our two leading mattress brands.”
