NFM to Host Live Big Event in Texas

Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway owner of Nebraska Furniture Mart, will be the April 8 event’s guest speaker.

All proceeds will benefit Cancer Support Community North Texas.

Cancer Support Community North Texas is the leading, non-profit provider of free, emotional, psychological and social support for cancer patients and their families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The organization, which is recognized by its welcoming “red door” at all locations, has clubhouse locations in Dallas, Plano and Fort Worth hospitals, and serves hundreds of people annually. The organization is best known for the impact its care has on cancer patients; studies have shown that incorporating psycho-social and emotional support into cancer care reduces the risk of cancer recurrence and risk of dying by approximately 50 percent.
