High Point Spring 2015 Design Viewpoints Series Set

The High Point Market Authority, in association with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID),  has set the schedule for its seminar series at the Spring High Point Market.

The Design Viewpoints Series will take place April 18-21, at the High Point Theatre, next to the Transportation Terminal in downtown High Point. The series offers up to .4 continuing education units (CEUs) to those who attend. All sessions are IDCEC approved.

“By attending the popular Design Viewpoints Series, designers and retailers can “rack-up” a total of .4 CEUs, putting them well on the way towards their 1.0 accreditation needs for the full year,” said

Tom Conley, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority. “Our research has shown that interior designers and retailers come to the High Point Market to see new products, network with old and meet new friends, and take advantage of our Design Viewpoints Series for continuing education credit.”

Sponsored by Horchow, http://www.horchow.com an online retailer with a program to the trade for designers, all seminars in the Design Viewpoints Series are free to interior designers and retailers attending the Spring High Point Market. On tap for the series are discussions on kitchen renovations, brand building and working with the media, managing the client pipeline (with a book signing to follow), and building a soft accessory brand.

“ASID is pleased to join High Point Market again in 2015 to present respected thought leaders on topics that are top of mind for today’s interior designers,” said Randy W. Fiser, CEO at ASID. “Our collaboration with High Point Market gives ASID the opportunity to offer superior educational opportunities for our members and market attendees during one of the industry’s most respected home furnishings shows.”
