Bob’s Readies 3 Stores for Grand Opening

Retailer Bob’s Discount Furniture will donate $30,000 to charitable organizations and schools in the Greater Philadelphia area to celebrate the opening of its three newest stores.
Set for grand openings Thursday the stores in Northeast Philadelphia, Langhorne, Pa., and Deptford, N.J., expands the retailer’s footprint in the Philadelphia market to seven stores. The stores range in size from 29,728 square feet to 38,000 square feet.
After opening more than a dozen new stores during the past two years, Bob’s will now have 57 stores in 11 states across the East Coast and Mid-Atlantic regions, with additional expansion planned for 2015.
“We definitely see further opportunities for growth,” said Bob Kaufman, Bob’s president emeritus and co-founder. “And as we grow, we intend to continue supporting schools, charities and other worthwhile causes in each of the communities where we operate.”
